Climate Change and the Story of Sarah

This speech won two Cicero Speechwriting Awards 2014 in categories Government and Environment/Energy/Sustainability and it was published in Vital Speeches International on June 2013. It was given by Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Building, Martin Lidegaard (now Minister of Foreign Affairs) on May 22, 2013 and combines issues of health and climate change.

The More Subtle Level of Discrimination

This speech was published in Vital Speeches International April 2013. It was given by former City Councillor in Copenhagen, Neil Stenbæk Bloem on February 7, 2013 and it tells the story of discrimination in Copenhagen by drawing on Neil’s personal story of a black South African father on the run from the Apartheid regime.

Oil and Gas on the Green Scale

This speech was published in Vital Speeches International December 2013. It was given by Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Building, Martin Lidegaard (now Minister of Foreign Affairs) on December 10, 2013 and defends the Governments vision of a fossil fuel free society to an audience of oil and gas companies while showing a way forward.

A Green Glow to the Land of the Living Fire

This speech was published in Vital Speeches International June 2013. It was given by Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Building, Martin Lidegaard (now Minister of Foreign Affairs) on April 19, 2013 and encourages Romania to make a green transition to renewable energy by telling the Danish story.

Talking about the Weather

This speech was given Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Building, Rasmus Helveg Petersen to be delivered at IPCC and WMO’s Workshop on Communicating Climate, Paris, France, April 2, 2014 and talks about the ice loss from Greenland in a persnal way – it is equivalent of i glass of water for each person every five minuttes – EVERY five minutes.

Climate Finance in the Round Tower

This speech was given by Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Building, Martin Lidegaard (now Minister of Foreign Affairs) on October 22, 2013 and talks about the need for private equity in climate finance at an intimate meeting with UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon at the Round Tower in Copenhagen.

The Attentive Relationship Between Science and Politics

This speech was given by Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Building, Martin Lidegaard (now Minister of Foreign Affairs) on September 5, 2013 and talks necessary relationsship between science and politics for durable solutions and action in time.

Setting Green Sails

This speech was given by Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Building, Martin Lidegaard (now Minister of Foreign Affairs) on August 29, 2013 and celebrates a VESTAS prototype wind turbine at a Danish ship warf.
